Lima gastronomy tour and Barranco

Explore Lima on a private gastronomic tour. Begin at San Isidro Market, sampling fresh local produce before continuing to the historic center around Plaza Mayor. Admire the Government Palace, Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, Municipal Palace, and the Palace of the Union.

Stop at the traditional El Cordano bar, visit the Choco Museo, and enjoy a classic Peruvian meal with a Pisco Sour at El Bolivariano. Conclude the morning at Yitzhak Rabin Park with views over Lima Bay.

In the afternoon, discover bohemian Barranco. Stroll across the Puente de los Suspiros and visit the Pedro de Osma Museum before returning to your hotel.

Lima to Cusco

Take a morning flight to Cusco and transfer privately to your hotel, with time to acclimate to the Andean altitude. Begin with a gentle guided walk through Plaza de Armas and the lively San Pedro Market, meeting artisans and sampling regional flavors.

Later, enjoy a private half-day walking tour through Cusco’s Inca stone streets. Visit the Cathedral, built during the Spanish viceroyalty, and Santo Domingo, constructed atop the sacred Koricancha, once dedicated to the Sun God. Return to your hotel on foot.

Kayak and yoga at Piuray Lake

At Piuray Lake, your Peru itinerary pauses for a warm welcome with hot drinks, water, and light snacks. Take time to relax, photograph the tranquil landscape, and absorb the stillness of the Andes.

Your guide provides kayaks or stand-up paddle boards along with a safety briefing and paddling instruction before you set out on the water.

To Machu Picchu by train

Early this morning, you are transferred to Ollantaytambo to board the train to Chachabamba, where your hike begins. Follow the trail to Wiñayhuayna, exploring its impressive terraces and pausing for lunch surrounded by lush mountain scenery.

Continue onward to Inti Punku, the Sun Gate, where a breathtaking first view of Machu Picchu awaits, one of the best places to visit in Peru. After taking in the panorama, descend to the main entrance and ride the bus to Aguas Calientes to rest before your visit the next day.

To Sacred Valley

In the morning, transfer by bus to Machu Picchu for a guided exploration of the Lost City of the Incas. With your local expert, discover its masterful stonework and breathtaking mountain setting.

In the afternoon, enjoy free time in Aguas Calientes to browse local markets or relax in the hot springs. Later, take the train to Ollantaytambo and continue to your hotel in the Sacred Valley for the night.
