Tips for travelling to Corfu in July

Here are a handful of tips to help you make the most of your trip to Corfu in July.

What to wear in Corfu in July

Given that July is the hottest month of the year in Corfu and sees average highs of 33C, you’ll want to wear light summer wear — t-shirts, shorts, and sundresses. You’ll also want swimwear and sunscreen.

Alongside packing flips flops for the beach and sandals for exploring the Old Town and villages, if you plan to trek the Corfu Trail, you should also bring walking decent shoes.

Book flights and accommodation early

Being peak season, demand for flights and accommodation is high, and so too are the prices. So, in order to secure your perfect place to stay, and ideal flight times, you should book as early as possible.

While it’s unlikely you’ll save really big bucks, early-bird deals could see you shave some money off the cost of your trip.

Start your days early

Given the high temperatures, if you’re planning to head to the beach, or go on a hike, it’s best to set off early to make the most of the day before the heat and UV levels are at their strongest.
