“This was the first time we had used a holiday planning and booking company and we were initially a little unsure but ultimately hugely impressed. Julia - from Somewhere We Know in Athens, came up with a really interesting proposal. She responded speedily and positively to our suggestions and changes to come up with a holiday that we were happy with in terms of schedule, activities and price. All of the hotels she recommended were great, especially the Mazarakis guesthouse in Sparta. Her suggested places to visit and things to do were also also all great. She responded sensibly to practical questions, such as whether it was better to collect our hire car from central Athens or the airport, and then organised the collection and drop off to suit us. The information pack was really helpful and user friendly, especially because we were able to download it onto an app and then click through for travel directions and for contacting hotels, guides etc. What we particularly valued was the personal guides she selected for our tours around the Acropolis (Elana), Delphi (Penny), Olympia (Elena number 2) and Epidaurus (Thodoris), who were all great in their different ways. She was in contact throughout the trip, so that we knew that we could contact her if we had any problems. All in all, very highly recommended.”

“Thank you for your work. We had a marvelous time. The Artist in Athens, on our last night gave us an upgrade! What a nice surprise. I loved Greece. It was like a postcard. A few things that caught my attention. Many of our scheduled tours left before our hotels had breakfast. We missed out on a few. Our drop off and pick up in Chaina was on the main street. A small walk but one we did not expect. the video showed our pickup to be in the front of the hotel so a bit confusing. Our guide for the Balos Lagoon got off of the bus early and we had no idea when to get off. In Santorini we expected a bigger room based on the itinerary but was given a very small room. None of these things were major but thought you might want to know. Everything really went off without a hitch. thank you again.”
