I planned my trip to Greece. They put me in touch with a fantastic local tour company who took care of everything! Transportation, lodging, activities, you name it, it was taken care of. This was especially convenient because I was island hopping and the tour company arranged all speed boat transfers and even arranged a cabin for my overnight transfer from Crete to Athens. I highly recommend this service simply for the ease and convenience and for the expertise these tour companies offer. I even planned my next trip to Iceland using the service!

My friends had a great time exploring Greece with the help of Rough Guides. It was my first time visiting the country and not knowing what to expect (even with researching ahead of time!), I was glad our group decided to work with a company to plan out details

Greece was amazing! The people, the food, the culture, and the views were really special to experience. I enjoyed all the excursions that were planned and appreciated our tour guides very much. Our trip was enriched by them. Unfortunately, there were also some disappointments as the first hotel had paired up with a nearby restaurant for our free breakfast. I and almost everyone in my party experience food poisoning from the restaurant we had breakfast at and this was at the first leg of the trip so only our first two days. I almost did not make our travel day from Athens to Paros because of this. I was too sick to let the hotel staff know, but I believe our group lead had informed the front desk to warn them. I also found the accomodations at our last stay in Crete to be less than desirable. I thought we were going to have a family suite for four adults, meaning there would be two separate rooms and appropriate beds (This had been the set up at the hotel prior). The reality was that there was one bedroom with two twin beds put together and a bathroom in the bedroom. Then the second bedroom was a kitchen/dining area with a sofa bed/cot set up which was very hard. Four adults sharing this type of space was not comfortable. This was also held at a resort where you had to drive to the nearby towns which was a completely different vibe from the rest of the trip where we could walk into town. I did enjoy the private beach and the pool and we found the guest experience representative to be incredibly friendly. For a first time trip to Greece, I think booking through a travel agency, especially one based here, was worth the piece of mind that we would make flights/boats on time and that all our excursions were vetted. I do think for the amount we paid, we should have received a better room at the last leg of the trip. I would love to come back to Greece again someday, I had a once in a lifetime experience overall and I'm grateful for the folks who made it special.
