Continue to the Convent of San Francisco, renowned for its atmospheric cloisters and intriguing colonial catacombs. As you explore further, drive past the ancient adobe pyramid of Huaca Pucllana and through traditional neighborhoods, before concluding with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and the beaches of Miraflores.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before traveling to Pisac, one of the best places to visit in Peru’s Sacred Valley. Wander through its vibrant handicraft market, lively fair, and charming narrow streets, where Andean traditions are still part of daily life.

Enjoy a tailor-made experience as you meet local artisans and sample regional flavors, followed by a buffet lunch in the scenic Urubamba Valley.

In the afternoon, continue to Ollantaytambo, a remarkable living Inca town known for its ancient irrigation canals, imposing terraces, and the megalithic Temple of the Sun, also called the Real Casa del Sol.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before transferring to the train station for your journey to Machu Picchu.

From Aguas Calientes, a short bus ride takes you to the Archaeological Center for a guided two hour tour of its temples, plazas, palaces, and terraces, as your expert guide shares the story of this iconic site. You will also take part in a brief crystal planting meditation to connect with the energy of the sanctuary.

After time to appreciate the surrounding National Reserve, enjoy lunch at the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge. In the afternoon, return by train to Cusco and transfer to your hotel on arrival.

After breakfast, transfer to Puerto Maldonado, the Capital of Biodiversity, and continue by boat along the Madre de Dios River to Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion, a seamless addition to your Peru itinerary.

Settle into your stilted cabaña and enjoy a buffet lunch at Casa Grande before heading out on the Concepcion Trails, where rainforest paths along the Tambopata National Reserve reveal exotic plants and wildlife.
