Arrival in Amman

Ahlen Wa Sahlan, welcome to your Jordan heritage journey. Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, our English-speaking airport team will greet you at passport control and assist with immigration and visa formalities for eligible nationalities.

You will then meet your private driver and be transferred comfortably to your hotel in Amman, beginning your Jordan travel experience with ease. 

If you arrive in the morning, you may choose to start your journey with a relaxed introduction to the city, exploring lively neighborhoods and sampling local flavors. For later arrivals, take time to unwind at your hotel and gently settle into the rhythm of Jordan.

Kings Highway journey to Petra and desert encounters

After breakfast, depart Amman and travel toward Petra along the historic King’s Highway, one of the region’s most ancient and scenic routes.

Pause in Madaba to visit the Basilica of St. George and admire its intricate 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, where sweeping views recall the moment Moses is said to have gazed toward the Promised Land.

Journey onward above the dramatic landscapes of Wadi Mujib before arriving at Shobak, one of Jordan’s most atmospheric and well-preserved Crusader castles.

End your day with a memorable moment of Bedouin hospitality, sharing tea in Abu Ali Cave before continuing toward Petra.

Petra exploration and Wadi Rum stargazing

After breakfast, explore Petra, the Rose Red City, and one of the best places to visit in Jordan. Walk with your guide through the Siq as it opens onto the iconic Treasury, then continue across the ancient city to discover the Roman Theater, Royal Tombs, the Court, Qasr Al Bint, the Church, and quieter corners that reveal Petra’s layered history and enduring legacy.

Later, travel to Wadi Rum, where the landscape shifts to vast desert horizons. In the evening, share a traditional Zarb dinner around a Bedouin campfire before experiencing the magic of the desert night. Far from city lights, use modern telescopes to observe stars, planets, and nebulae, connecting with the stillness and timeless spirit of Jordan.

Wadi Rum desert adventure and return to Amman

Today, set out on a two-hour jeep adventure through Wadi Rum, the largest and most dramatic of Jordan’s desert landscapes. Traverse sweeping red dunes and take in the scale of towering sandstone monoliths that define this iconic terrain.

Visit the Nabataean Temple overlooking Wadi Rum village, pause at Lawrence Spring, and continue to the Red Sand Dune and Khazali Canyon, where ancient inscriptions are carved into the rock.

In the afternoon, meet your guide and driver for the scenic journey back to Amman, carrying with you the vast stillness and striking beauty of the desert.

Amman city tour and eastern desert castles

After breakfast, continue your Jordan itinerary with a guided exploration of Amman. Begin at the Citadel, where sweeping views stretch across the city, and visit the Temple of Hercules and the Umayyad Palace before descending to the Roman Theatre.

Stroll through West Al Balad to experience its lively markets, traditional coffee houses, and local eateries, then continue along Rainbow Street, discovering colorful stairways, artistic cafés, and intimate galleries.

In the afternoon, journey into the Eastern Desert to explore Jordan’s historic desert castles. After breakfast, travel to Jerash, one of the best preserved Roman provincial cities in the world. Walk along its colonnaded streets, past temples and theatres that reveal layers of history spanning thousands of years.

Continue north to a panoramic viewpoint above the River Yarmouk, where sweeping views extend across the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights, reaching into the landscapes of Syria, Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon.

On your return, stop in Ajloun to visit its hilltop castle, a striking example of Islamic architecture overlooking the Jordan Valley. Conclude your day in the Ajloun Reserve, where you will visit a traditional soap workshop and gain insight into local craftsmanship and heritage.

Savor a leisurely lunch with panoramic views, then explore the legendary landscape long associated with the biblical cities of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, and Zoar.
