Born and raised in the modest town of Taytay in Rizal Province, I was fortunate to experience a beautiful balance of urban and rural life in the Philippines. Since 2013, I have been part of the travel and tourism industry, allowing me to travel to numerous provinces and be exposed to the diverse ways of living, cultures, and rich traditions of different Filipino communities. Beyond the beautiful islands, landscapes, and clear waters of our country, I have gained a deep appreciation for the warm hearts, kind smiles, and overwhelming hospitality of my fellow countrymen.

I’m Nina, born and raised in the Philippines, shaped by its bookstores, markets, and weekends spent escaping to beaches and mountain air. I studied Literature at De La Salle University and later chased stories across magazines, newsrooms, and brands. I love wandering across Asia—whether it’s finding the best bowl in a tiny 6-seater izakaya in Japan, watching films that spark new curiosities, or seeking out experiences you’ll never forget. As a travel adviser, I bring that same instinct for discovery, crafting journeys filled with flavor, culture, and moments that feel uniquely yours.

Growing up in the City of Golden Friendship, Cagayan de Oro City, I spent much of my childhood traveling locally with my parents as a way to bond. As I grew older, I was able to explore more of the Philippines and appreciate its beauty even more. Traveling within the country can be challenging, as it is made up of over 7,000 islands, but for those unfamiliar with how travel and transportation work here, it becomes part of the adventure, adding depth to the overall experience. From hiking and beach trips to island hopping and exploring the classic highlights of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, each journey offers something unique.
