I am a native Costa Rican, born in San José and raised in Cartago, both in the Central Valley. As a married father of two children, I have traveled this country extensively, both on my honeymoon as well as with my family, and I know how to create itineraries that are exciting for all generations.

As a tour operator, we have over 30 years experience in creating unique travel experiences for travelers from all over the world. Wildlife enthusiasts will marvel at the almost untouched Peninsula de Osa, Reggae fans can enjoy the relaxed vibe of Puerto Viejo, surfistas will love Playa Hermosa and children and parents will love exploring the rainforest from above on one of the many hanging bridges. Our approach is simple: we listen carefully to your ideas and thoughts on your upcoming trip and translate those into travel experiences that will suit you best. We love our country and love showing it to travelers and make sure that this passion is reflected in everything we do and offer. With over 25% of the country declared as national parks, we are committed to sustainability and green practices and choose our suppliers carefully.

I have been a travel addict since my early twenties and I see travel as a means to discover and explore the world. It is not just about places, it is above all about people and the amazing stories they can tell. Since I was young, I've always enjoyed coupling my talent for organisation with my creativity to design special trips for the most curious and discerning travellers. My home country offers so many opportunities for new experiences and emotions that it never ceases to amaze me.

I founded my own tour operator to scratch my own itch - I wanted to be able to plan authentic trips, a mix of known tourist attractions with off-the-beaten-track excursions, trips that I wanted to take myself. Costa Rica offers something for everyone and with our diverse team we have tested and tried the best hiking routes, the ideal scuba diving areas, the best places to stay on a budget, the most family-friendly hotels and much more. With over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, we’re ready to create and execute trips that will create memories to last a lifetime.

Just wanted to say thank you. My son and his college buddy had the best time in Costa Rica! You set up an amazing trip for them, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was perfect. Hi Roberto, we had a wonderful time in Costa Rica, every day was an adventure! We very much enjoyed Tortuguero, so much wildlife and seeing the turtles nesting and laying eggs was spectacular. We also very much enjoyed the authenticity of the Tortuga Lodge. I am sorry, we could not meet to thank you in person for a wonderful trip. We will warmly recommend Costa Rica to friends and family, as well as yourself and the Rough Guide for planning an outstanding trip. A truly amazing journey. Muchos gracias and Pura Vida!
