Day01

Arrive in Hanoi

Welcome to Vietnam. Your Vietnam travel experience begins as your local guide meets you at Noi Bai International Airport and transfers you to central Hanoi.

After settling into your hotel, take time to relax and soak up the city’s atmosphere as you ease into your journey.

Day02

Hanoi City tour

Begin in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and drive to Tran Quoc Pagoda, set on a small island in West Lake. Continue to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the mausoleum, Presidential Palace, and the stilt house, to learn about Vietnam’s modern history.

After lunch, explore the Museum of Ethnology with its outdoor ethnic houses, followed by visits to the Temple of Literature and the sobering Hoa Lo Prison, often known as the “Hanoi Hilton.” End the day with a traditional water puppet show before returning to your hotel.

Hanoi to Ha Long Bay

From Hanoi, drive east about three hours across the green Red River delta to Ha Long Bay in the Gulf of Tonkin, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Board a boat to cruise among limestone karsts, enjoy fresh seafood, visit the Surprising Grotto, swim or kayak, and pass floating villages.

In the late afternoon, return to the boat for dinner, join activities on board, or relax, and spend the night near Titov Beach.

Ha Long Bay to Hanoi

After breakfast, take a boat to Luon Cave, a ring-shaped lagoon carved into the heart of an island, known for its emerald waters and tranquil setting. Cruise past iconic formations such as Cock Fighting Rock, Sail Island, Incense Burner Rock, and Sea Dog Rock, each steeped in local legend.

Return to Ha Long Wharf and travel back to Hanoi by shuttle bus, arriving in the mid-afternoon.

Hanoi to Hoi An

Your private driver meets you at the hotel for a transfer to Noi Bai International Airport and a short flight to Da Nang. On arrival, a local guide and driver welcome you and transfer you onward to Hoi An Ancient Town, one of the best places to visit in Vietnam for culture and creativity.

Departure

Enjoy a final morning to relax and shop in Saigon, Vietnam’s largest commercial center. Spend the time your way, browsing Ben Thanh Market, discovering hidden coffee shops, or picking up locally made crafts.

When ready, your driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure flight.
