Ho Chi Minh City day tour

Begin the day exploring Cholon, walking through its lively markets and specialist shops before visiting Thien Hau Pagoda and the FITO Museum to learn about Vietnam’s traditional medicine heritage. Continue to Ben Thanh Market to sample fresh produce and observe daily trade.

In the afternoon, choose between the War Remnants Museum or the History Museum, then enjoy a relaxed walk past key city landmarks, including the Presidential Palace, City Hall, Dong Khoi Street, the Continental Hotel, the Opera House, and the Central Post Office.

Mekong Delta overnight cruise

Drive about two hours from Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Be, where you board the Bassac for a leisurely Mekong Delta cruise. Glide past Cai Be Floating Market and visit a riverside cottage to see traditional popping rice, rice paper making, and coconut sweets in production.

Continue cruising toward Dong Hoa Hiep Island, enjoying village scenery and a relaxed lunch on board as you pass through one of the best places to visit in Vietnam for river life and rural culture.

In the evening, dine and spend the night on board. The following morning, cross the Mekong to Cai Rang Floating Market to observe rice barges, wooden shipyards, and fruit drying along the riverbanks before disembarking and returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Saigon by night, street food experience
