Begin with a gentle walk from Pu Luong Retreat into a valley of cascading rice terraces, following shaded paths to Uoi village beneath a towering mountain, with time to pause for views and photos.

Hanoi to Halong Bay

Travel east from Hanoi through the Red River Delta to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Gulf of Tonkin. On arrival, board a comfortable cruise to begin exploring the bay’s limestone karsts and island-dotted waters.

Visit Surprising Grotto, one of Ha Long Bay’s most impressive caves, and continue cruising past floating fishing villages and dramatic rock formations. There will also be time for kayaking or swimming in the calm emerald waters before approaching Titov Beach.
