What about the crowd & cost?

Thailand is at its busiest as tourists come for winter vacations. Popular islands like Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui, and Phuket are packed. Prices for hotels, flights, and tours are at their highest, especially around Christmas and New Year. Major attractions like the temples in Bangkok or Chiang Mai’s Old City will be crowded, so patience is required. Advance reservation is essential if you want to secure accommodations at reasonable rates. If you’re looking to avoid the crowds, consider heading to lesser-known regions like Nan or Loei.
