Into the hills to Nuwakot

Leave Kathmandu behind and follow a scenic road past the Royal Nagarjun Forest Reserve, climbing steadily to a pass with sweeping Himalayan views. From here, look down over the Trisuli River Valley and the hilltop village of Nuwakot, your first countryside base.

Settle into your cozy, character-filled accommodation, then head out to explore at a relaxed pace. Rafting on the Trisuli river

Today, your journey along the Trisuli River becomes an adventure on the water. After a full safety briefing, set out to paddle through gentle currents and lively grade 2 to 3 rapids, with a riverside picnic stop along the way and a support kayaker close at hand.

Your main luggage is transferred by private vehicle, while essential items stay secure in waterproof bags on the raft. On arrival at your permanent riverside camp, settle into the relaxed Himalayan setting. Enjoy beach volleyball, short walks, and a campfire barbecue under the stars.

Journey to Begnas lake and the Annapurna foothills
