quotes

Pack swimwear, a quick-dry towel, insect repellent, and shoes you do not mind getting wet, as this day combines boat travel, jungle paths, and waterfall time. Keep some small cash handy in case you wish to buy simple local crafts, and ask before taking photos in Orang Asli villages. A light rain jacket is useful, even outside the wetter months.

Day04

Penang Island and optional temple visit

After breakfast, check out and journey to Penang Island across the famous bridge linking the mainland with this historic coastal haven.

Arrive in the afternoon and soak up the island’s relaxed atmosphere. You can also choose an optional visit to Kek Lok Si, one of Southeast Asia’s most impressive temple complexes, known for its soaring Buddha pagodas, tranquil Tortoise Pond of Longevity, and vast Kuan Yin pavilion, home to an immense statue of the Goddess of Mercy.

Your trip concludes in Penang, where you can continue with a beach, city, or food-focused extension, or begin your journey home.
