Kiasma is Helsinki’s museum of contemporary art, its gleaming steel-clad exterior and hi-tech interior make it well worth a visit. Temporary exhibitions feature everything from paintings to video installations. Opposite is the Lasipalatsi, a multimedia complex situated in a recently renovated 1930s classic Functionalist building, now home to a number of trendy shops and cafés.
