Sports and Outdoor activities in Czech Republic

Football is the country’s second national sport. In Prague, you can see two of the tops teams, Sparta (sparta.cz) and Slavia (slavia.cz).

Matches are usually on Saturdays from August to November and March to May.

Ice hockey is another national craze: you can watch matches in bars in most towns in the Czech Republic, or arrange to see games in stadiums during the season (book tickets through sazkaticket.cz).

There are plenty of outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking and rock climbing to be enjoyed in Bohemia, as well as caving in the Moravian karst
