Ever dreamed of cruising down the Zambezi at sunset, spotting the Big Five in Kruger National Park or bush camping in the wilds of Botswana? Now we’re making that dream come true as we partner with Acacia Africa to offer you the chance to win a two-week overland trip for two through southern Africa.
If you want to go in search of Africa's biggest beasts or meet the people of Botwana's rural villages then you need to enter this competition. The Southern African Magic trip takes you and your travel companion overland from Johannesburg, South Africa, through some of the country's most spectacular national parks, along the Zambezi river in Zambia and into Botswana to explore the Okavango Delta's 15,000 square kilometre maze of lagoons, channels and islands.
From tented camping to sleeping in safari lodges, accommodation throughout the tour is included and you'll be guided through every part of the journey with knowledgable local guides to ensure you get the most out of your African experience. Highlights include a scenic drive through the 800 metre-deep Blyde River Canyon, night safaris in Kruger National Park and meeting the abandoned and injured animals rescued in the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, not to mention ample time for meeting the locals – human and animal! This tried-and-tested adventure is bound to give you a taste for further exploration of this vast and varied continent.
