With its remote beauty, rugged landscapes and windswept coastlines, Ireland is a photographer’s dream. Philip Joyce shares some of his favourite pictures of Ireland.

The Emerald Isle is one of the most spectacular locations on the planet. From rolling hills to vast cliffs and beautiful coastal drives, Ireland rivals anywhere in the world when it comes to stunning vistas – particularly for myself, a landscape photographer. I am never far from an iconic location, like the historic architecture of Dublin or the Skellig Islands, now famous for being featured in the new Star Wars movies.

I love photographing Ireland, especially places like the Cliffs of Moher or the Ring of Kerry. I’ve always aimed to make images that show the true beauty of the place I photograph, and Ireland is no exception.
