Pause the journey with optional tailor-made experiences that suit your travel style, then continue to the gates of Serengeti National Park. After lunch at a picnic area, set out on a game drive across the classic Serengeti savanna, surrounded by vast herds and the predators that follow them.

quotes

In Seronera, early starts make a real difference. The cool morning hours are often best for seeing big cats on the move before they retreat into the shade. Ask your guide to linger near kopjes and river areas, where lions and leopards are often spotted. Keep binoculars ready, but take time to simply watch the plains wake up.

Day05

Serengeti wildlife drive and Maasai boma visit

Today, travel through Serengeti National Park along a new route, giving you fresh chances to spot wildlife you may not have seen earlier. Look for vast herds of wildebeest and zebra, graceful giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, elephants, and predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas.

Continue into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and visit an authentic Maasai boma, where you can learn about local traditions, daily life, and the community’s connection to this protected landscape.

In the evening, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater or in nearby Karatu Town.

Day06

Ngorongoro Crater safari and return to Arusha

Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. From the panoramic viewpoint, take in sweeping views across the lush caldera before descending to the wildlife-rich crater floor.

Explore one of Africa’s most iconic natural sanctuaries, home to more than 120 mammal species, including the Big Five, endangered black rhinos, hippos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas. From your open-top vehicle, photograph wildebeest, zebras, antelope, and buffalo as you cross the plains.

Pause for a picnic lunch beside the famous hippo pool, surrounded by dramatic crater walls, before beginning the scenic journey back to Arusha.
