We had the best Christmas break ever travelling around Sri Lanka. The country is so beautiful and people so friendly. I travelled with my two teenagers and given the variety the island offers, everyone's interests could be met! We visited cultural sights, enjoyed the nature and animals, engaged in sport activities and spent time on the sandy beaches. Both our driver and the contact person at insight guides were extremely helpful and friendly.

Justyna was always on our service, even on the weekends, very helpful and rapid responsive. Very encouraging even if it was our 1st trip via IG and we didn't know what to expect and a bit frightened. Kind and talkative driver Jagath always helping with "our requests"; clean and safe car; nature. Organisation, Justyna's support, Jagath driver, activities, sightseeings - all great and to recommend. The best hotel was Cinammon wild at Yala; the worst was Tallala retreat (acomodation and staff unsatisfactory).

Despite our late arrival, we were met at the airport and taken to our hotel. We had a car and driver/guide whose English was good. Sometimes he would suggest other things to see, not on the itinerary. This was great as many days had a lot of free time as the listed activities often took only an hour or two, plus driving time. Our hotels were all high end and divided by us into resorts with buffet meals and boutique hotels with personalised service and great food. Sri Lanka seems to have few lower cost hotels and all, with th exception of Galle, seem to be isolated from towns and the local people which we found disappointing. Dinner and breakfast were included as generally there was nowhere else outside the hotels to find a meal. Highlights included attending the Perehera festival in Kandy, the train ride in the high country, elephants in the national park and the transit centre and staying within the fort in Galle. We would highly recommend this as the place is all yours once the tourists have returned to their hotels outside the fort. The best thing about Sri Lanka is meeting the people who are friendly and delightful. They have 4 religions and seem to live in total harmony, respecting the rights of others to have a different faith. It would be great to spend more time with the people and less with tourists in the resorts, but that is the way it is.

My friend and I had the best time in Sri Lanka full of adventure and culture! We got a great sneak peak of the countryside, jungle and beach and had a great time doing it. Our driver, Dami, was fantastic and really made the trip with his local knowledge and friendliness. I would definitely recommend this trip and full on booking experience to anyone!

Overall: It was a dream trip, we had an amazing time and I have to say that it exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was very well thought and we loved that we got to see so many diverse sceneries and we got to do so many things but at the same time managed to rest and recharge our batteries. All suggestions of accommodation were spot on and the timing in each place was well thought.

Today is my last day in a 7day tour. It was way better than we expected, as a matter of fact it was awesome. I went with my wife and 3 kids aged 3.5, 7 and 11. Went to Sigiriya, Kandy and now spending our last night in Colombo. The whole itinerary was organized by them, all I did was tell them what our preferences are and left it to them to plan.

The whole experience was first class !!
