My love affair with Sri Lanka began in 2010, when I started managing boutique hotels in Sri Lanka. Working in the country gave me the opportunity to learn about the country in a completely different way than if I had visited as a tourist.
The longer I worked there and got to know the island as a tourist destination, the more I saw travelers only seeing the commercial highlights of the island. I wanted to change that and show travelers the real Sri Lanka. That’s when I moved from hospitality to the travel industry so I could share the true nature of this island, which I value so much.
