I specialise in Southern Africa journeys, with a passion for the Kruger region with a passion to curate immersive, unique travel experiences. Born in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) and raised in Johannesburg, I studied Tourism Management in Cape Town and then spent a few years along the beautiful Garden Route before settling in the Cape Winelands. These experiences shaped my love for travel, and travel planning became a natural part of my life, combining my love for exploring new destinations, travelling with family, and helping others experience Africa’s magic. When not crafting dream trips, I enjoy photography, baking, and upcycling furniture.

I’m GP, co-founder of Inspired Routes, a boutique tour operator born from a passion for meaningful African travel. Together with my Peruvian wife, we create tailor-made South African journeys designed around your interests, pace, and travel style. With more than 35 years of combined hands-on experience as guides and travel specialists, we personally curate every itinerary using trusted local partners, carefully selected lodges, seamless logistics, and hidden gems beyond the typical tourist route. From Cape Town and Kruger to Namibia and Zimbabwe extensions, we focus on reliability, honest advice, and meaningful experiences that travellers remember long after returning home.

I grew up in Europe but realized soon enough that my true passion lies in Africa. After living in Tanzania for a few years I relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa, where I have been ever since. Africa has this unique combination of fascinating wildlife, authentic culture and endless landscape attractions, making the continent a great choice for all. 

Our tour operators runs trips all over East and Southern Africa and I am in charge of our South African operations. Living in the capital, I take a lot of advantage of our easy access to some of the best national parks in South Africa, as well as the well-connected domestic flight network to head out to the coast. My favorite itinerary includes a week of game drives in our national parks up north before heading south on a road trip along the Garden Route. A wide selection of services is at your disposal when working with me: safari lodges, rental cars, domestic flights, specialized wilderness guides - all available for your ideal trip.
