Hello. I'm Ravi, your local expert for India
I grew up in Delhi and have a profound love for our country’s amazing outdoors. Starting as a trekking and tour guide in 1990, my journey has taken me to the farthest corners of this incredible subcontinent and I developed a deep appreciation and strong bond with its long and living history, its natural abundance and our unique and unmatched cultural diversity. I believe that India is best experienced by living it, tasting it and mingling with the locals.
I founded our tour operator in 2011 to cater to travelers who wanted to go beyond the ordinary India tour and instead explore our rural areas, take different approaches to visit the cultural triangle (for example on a bike instead), go trekking in the North or discover the wildlife in Kerala in the South. With our tours, we make sure we provide extraordinary experiences to travelers while at the same time giving back to our communities.

All our guides on the our trip were excellent, always on time as arranged, full of local knowledge, and passionate delivering their tours to us. Our trip included such a variety of experiences, from walking city tours, a street food tour, houseboat stay and hiking a mountain. Special mentions to tour guides Saji, our fabulous guide in Kochi, also Sunil in Kochi, and Muthu in Madurai. As well as our guide in Kumarakom whose knowledge was fabulous in explaining all about the Backwaters and the local area. We have to highlight our fabulous driver, Roy, who greeted us each morning with a wonderful smile and drove us safely through India’s mad and busy weaving traffic!
