I was born in Santarém and raised in rural Portugal, I have spent my life exploring the country from north to south, from the villages of the mainland and off the beaten path to the beauty of the Azorean Islands and the Alentejo Coast. A History and music enthusiast, I have always been drawn to the stories behind places and people. The connection with the land, past to presente and people with nature. My goal is to help travellers discover a more authentic side of Portugal, beyond the familiar routes and into the country’s true cultural spirit and diversity.
