Archbishop’s Palace

On pleasant, pedestrianized Széchenyi Istvan utca 3 stands the Archbishop’s Palace, a U-shaped Baroque building whose right wing houses the treasury and a history of the bishopric of Eger. Cross the bridge and head to the left to see Eger’s iconic minaret extending skyward, and looking rather lonely without its mosque attached.
