Eric
European by birth, I moved to Brazil decades ago and love living in fascinating Rio de Janeiro. Growing up in Belgium, speaking different languages came naturally to me and nowadays I communicate in six in total, even though Portuguese and English are my most common day-to-day languages.
I founded our tour operator in the early 2000s after working in a large hotel in Rio de Janeiro prior to that. Our team, including your local expert Viviane, is an international, multi-lingual eclectic group and we also have a great portfolio of guides in many different languages and of many different specialities: no matter if you’re looking for a historian explaining the European heritage in Brazil or an ornithologist to accompany you to the Amazon, we’ve got you covered. And of course, carnival in our home city Rio is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for any traveler!
Our tours are most suited to those looking to cover several cities or regions in Brazil, wanting to make the most out of their time.

Gabriela
My name is Gabriela, and I grew up in the colorful landscapes of Salta, where my love for travel and culture first began. Guided by curiosity, I’ve explored remote nature, diverse traditions, and the stories that shape each place. The more I traveled, the more I appreciated the richness of Argentina and South America. Today, I use that passion to craft meaningful journeys that reveal the region’s true soul — its flavors, sounds, landscapes, and unforgettable human connections.

Viviane
When people think of Brazil, it’s often soccer, carnival and Samba they think about. When I think of my beloved country, I think of a very diverse landscape from paradise beaches to untouched Amazon forest, I think of passionate people always ready for a talk and a dance and I think of the hospitality Brazilians show to travelers worldwide. My name is Viviane and I can’t wait to show you the best of my native country Brazil.
Our tour operator is based in Rio de Janeiro and we’re as multicultural as Brazil is too - we speak over 5 languages in the office, among them Portuguese, English and Dutch, and are constantly out to explore more of our beautiful country. We have a great portfolio of guides in many different languages and of many different specialities: no matter if you’re looking for a historian explaining the European heritage in Brazil or an ornithologist to accompany you to the Amazon, we’ve got you covered. And of course, carnival in our home city Rio is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for any traveler!

Maria José
I grew up in a family with roots in different regions. From a young age, I had the chance to travel and see the culture, history, and nature of my country and South America. These experiences gave me a love for travel and made me want to pursue a professional degree in tourism. That is why I proudly work at Responsible Travel, creating unique and personalized trips for each traveler, no matter their age, interests, preferences, or sexual orientation. I respect everyone and connect them with local culture and nature, help communities, and protect the environment. Because of our work and our continuous effort to improve, we have earned worldwide recognitions and certifications such as Travelife, TourCert, and UN Global Compact, showing our strong commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism.

Jose Alejandro
My name is Jose Alejandro. I was born in the cultural city of Guayaquil, growing up and frequently traveling between the Andean highlands and the coastal regions of South America. These diverse landscapes shaped my passion for travel, culture, and adventure. I am a local expert specializing in South America, designing tailor-made journeys in Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina. I work with a company certified by Travelife, TourCert, and aligned with the UN Global Impact, helping travelers enjoy meaningful and responsible experiences.

Antoine
I grew up in a small village in the French wine country, surrounded by vineyards and quiet beauty. While it was an idyllic place to grow up, I always felt a strong urge to explore beyond it. Before settling in Bolivia, I lived and worked in several countries, starting my career in sales and negotiation. Eventually I moved into tourism to give my work greater meaning, because for me travel is about human connection, not consumption. Today I lead Terra Bolivia with a clear conviction: Bolivia is one of Latin America’s most preserved and least understood countries. My ambition is to design immersive, personal journeys that leave travelers with wonder, perspective and a real desire to return.
