My tailor-made Guatemalan Adventure trip was AMAZING!!! Our local tour guide Gustavo was exceptional, spoke three languages and made our trip comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. My husband and I really appreciated getting door-to-door transportation which was always punctual. This allowed us to enjoy a stress-free vacation as we knew we would arrive at our next day's destination promptly and safely. The accommodations were superb. They surpassed our expectations. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels before, but the Colonial authenticity, cleanliness, staff hospitality and the lush green courtyards made us feel like we travelled back in time. We also appreciated that our hot breakfast was included as this permitted us to sleep in a bit later and get much needed rest. All the staff, from Megan, Marcia, Gustavo and all the hotel staff whose names are too many to mention made us feel like family. Going out of their way to accommodate us. Rough Guides anticipates their clientele's needs and then exceeds them. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind vacation which will be individually tailor-made to your wishes, I highly recommend Rough Guides.
