Free day in Iguazú or optional Brazilian Falls

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day in Iguazú, with time to relax, browse local markets or add optional guided experiences.

One option is an excursion to the Brazilian side of Iguazú Falls. Cross into Brazil to visit Iguazú National Park in the state of Paraná, where a panoramic route reveals the full scale of the falls.

Travel through the park with sweeping views of the Iguazú River and its 275 waterfalls, including Floriano, Deodoro, Benjamin Constant and Salto Unión. The visit concludes with a scenic elevator ride back to the park entrance before returning to Argentina.

Puerto Iguazu to Puerto Madryn

After breakfast, you are transferred to Puerto Iguazú Airport for your flight south. Upon arrival at Trelew Airport, our representative will welcome you and escort you to your hotel in Puerto Madryn.

From giant whales breaching just meters offshore to colonies of sea lions and elephant seals, Magellanic penguins, guanacos, and abundant birdlife, the reserve is a true natural sanctuary. In Puerto Pirámides, you may choose to join an optional whale watching sail, followed by lunch.

A guided land excursion continues to Caleta Valdés, Punta Cantor, and Punta Norte, where elephant seals, penguins, and sea lions gather along the coast. On the northern peninsula, enjoy lunch at Estancia Rincón Chico, offering an authentic local experience in a traditional Patagonian setting.

Leisure day or Punta Tombo excursion

Enjoy a free day in Puerto Madryn, with time to relax along the coast, explore local shops, or arrange optional wildlife experiences with our support. One option is an excursion to Punta Tombo Provincial Reserve, home to the world’s largest Magellanic penguin colony.

Travel by road for approximately two and a half hours, then walk the marked trails among the penguins, visit the Punta Tombo Interpretation Center, and enjoy excellent wildlife photography opportunities. Return to Puerto Madryn in the afternoon.

Flight to Ushuaia

You will be transferred from Puerto Madryn to Trelew Airport for your short flight to Ushuaia. Upon arrival, a local representative will welcome you and escort you to your hotel, ensuring a smooth and personalized arrival.

Tierra del Fuego National Park

Continue to Lake Roca for an interpretive walk and an optional coffee break. The day concludes at Lapataia Bay, the end of National Route 3, with shoreline access and excellent birdwatching opportunities.

Sail across Ushuaia Bay and enter the Beagle Channel through Paso Chico, circling Bird Island and Sea Lion Island along the way. Continue to Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, where colonies of imperial and rock cormorants gather, and take in sweeping views of the mountain range that frames the city of Ushuaia.

After breakfast in El Calafate, enjoy a day at leisure or choose the Rivers of Ice navigation. Depart from Punta Bandera Port and sail across Lake Argentino, passing through Boca del Diablo into the Upsala and Spegazzini channels.

Along the way, admire the immense Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers and the dramatic icebergs drifting through the water. The boats are comfortably heated, with opportunities to step onto the deck for photography.
