Day01

Arrival in Bariloche

Welcome to Bariloche, the gateway to Argentine Patagonia and a highlight of unforgettable Argentina travel experiences. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your hotel, where you can relax and take in the surrounding alpine scenery.

In the afternoon, explore the town’s distinctive wooden architecture and artisan chocolate shops, enjoy a stroll along the lakefront, and discover panoramic viewpoints overlooking the mountains and water.

Circuito Chico and Cerro Catedral

After hotel pickup, travel to Playa Bonita for views of Isla Huemul. Continue to Cerro Campanario and take in panoramic views of Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes.

Pass iconic landmarks, including the Llao Llao Hotel, San Eduardo Chapel, and Puerto Pañuelo, the departure point for boats to Victoria Island and the Arrayanes Forest.

Drive past scenic golf courses and cross the Angostura Bridge to a viewpoint overlooking Lake Moreno and Cerro Catedral. At the base of Cerro Catedral, enjoy free time for lunch or shopping. You may also choose an optional chairlift ride to the summit for sweeping views of lakes, peaks, and Bariloche.

Blest waters and Frias peaks

Follow a scenic Argentina itinerary through lakes and mountain landscapes on the drive to Cerro Tronador, with stops at Lago Gutiérrez and Lago Mascardi. Enjoy short walks to viewpoints overlooking waterfalls, the Manso Glacier, and the thunderous icefalls that gave the mountain its name.

After a relaxed lunch at Pampa Linda, take in views of Cerro Tronador’s three peaks, Argentina, International, and Chile. Continue to the Devil’s Throat rock amphitheater and cross the Manso Inferior River bridge before returning to Bariloche.

Victoria Island and Arrayanes Forest

Glide across Lake Nahuel Huapi from Puerto Pañuelo to Victoria Island, home to forests of pine, coihue, and birch. Walk gentle trails, watch for pudu pudu, red deer, and golden pheasants, and take in panoramic views of snow-capped peaks.
