“We had a really good trip throughout almost all of Albania - plus Kotor and Budva in Montenegro. However, we probably should have added a few more days as moving hotels most mornings was a bit of a pain. Also, quite a lot of time in the car, which I guess was inevitable if we wanted to see everything in 12 days. Time in the car was made fun by our amazing driver, Randi (Marindo). He was so knowledgeable, relaxed and funny. Think it's fair to say that by the end of the trip he had become a lifetime friend. Albania itself is a beautiful country with an amazing coastline and friendly people. Prices are great. Good meal with very nice wine about £40 in most places. Montenegro more expensive (UK prices in the resorts) but also beautiful. A highly memorable trip.”

“We used RoughGuides to plan the land-portion of our trip in Romania. We discussed our goals and interests and then agreed on the trip plan, the types of hotels we like, etc. After that, Corina took care of everything. Once we arrived in Bucharest, we were contacted via WhatsApp by Alin, who was our guide and driver for the entire trip. “I was interested in planning a trip to Austria and found this site. I got two "offers" for introductory tours in my projected price range, and chose to work with one . We had a call after initial correspondence and later revised that plan . I found the communication via the Rough Guides software challenging and asked that we communicate directly via email during the final stages of planning. I was initially concerned that I wouldn't receive "final documents" until 2 wk before the trip , having by then paid in full. I did purchase the insurance ( which i have tended to do for the recent trips we've taken.) All in all i was very pleased with the trip , which exceeded expectations, including the hotel and several restaurant choices and the tour guides they engaged . Clemens was very good to work with in planning and his staff provided great support with regular followups along the way and quickly helping resolve a sticky issue that came up . They used an app called Destination Book to hold all of the trip data including vouchers for tickets that was terrific and easy to use. I would use this service again .”
