I must tell you that my tour with you is probably THE best tour I've ever taken (and I've taken a lot). My guide Rico set a bar so high that I don’t know if any other tour guide will ever measure up :) I can't say enough great things about him, or about the tour! I was floored by how many gorgeous sights we squeezed into two days. I hope to return someday and I'll absolutely book tours with you again.

Our trip to Iceland with your team was absolutely perfect and everyone loved it! Our guide & driver were stellar and the Northern Lights were beyond what we would have expected. Truly we've worked with many companies around the worked on our trips, and yours was top tier great.

We had an amazing stay in Iceland and definitely want to come back soon and explore some more. The itinerary was daunting but we got it all done with the exception of hiking Glymur trail. The Westfjords and the Peninsula were definite highlights but the whole trip was great start to finish.

The sties were awesome and our guide was terrific!

Thank you for all the arrangements made by you to facilitate our visit. The accommodation was good, comfortable and well located. The landscapes and drives were breath taking. I cannot say which was the best, they were all equally awesome...my husband and my family joins me in extending our appreciation to Rick for the wonderful day he gave us at Landmannalaugar.

This is the first time we used Insight Guides and are so happy that we did! The trip went off without a hitch. We got to do almost everything on our personal itinerary. the WiFi in the car was great using the maps and Google maps along the way. Accommodations were perfect - everything was just as planned. We will certainly try to use Insight Guides for our next adventure!

We used the service for all of the planning and arrangements for a two week trip to Iceland. It was a self-drive trip. Through its local representative, handled all arrangements, including rental car, hotel and excursions. These arrangements were based upon email exchanges so they could understand what our expectations and desires were. We had no prior experience with travel in Iceland and, so, were highly dependent upon their guidance. We could not have asked for a better experience. Each of the various accommodations were excellent, the detailed itinerary provided was easy to understand and guided us to sites which fit with our expressed desires, with a few new experiences thrown in. Each day was well laid out providing a busy, but not overloaded day. We will gladly use the service for any future trips into unknown areas.

We had a wonderful trip in Iceland, from Isafjordur to Reykjavik. I am very glad we went north to south. It allowed us to discover the beautiful wilderness of Iceland with few tourists. The closest to Reykjavik the more tourists, especially in the golden circle. Even there, the organization and direction of crowds were such that it was perfectly acceptable, but our experience was really enhanced by starting from the calm beauty of the north towards the south. We were surprised by the roads, the mud: some roads appeared perilous to us ( Bolfjall mountain, where we were caught in fog at mid slope, and the descent to Ytri yunga beach very muddy and slippery). Anyway, we managed, and we are very grateful to all the suggestions. Gorgeous landscapes, cliffs and villages. We feel that in few days we saw so many diverse beauties: lava fields, volcanoes, cliffs, waterfalls. A real glimpse at the geographic landscapes of Iceland. The itinerary was great, well explained and beautiful, although we have decided that, for our next trip, we’d rather stay in a place 2 days and visit from there, so we get a break from driving every day. We decided to move the blue lagoon visit to the day before our departure, instead of as designed just before our departure. Even if it was a back and forth from Reykjavik, I was grateful to be able to scrub all the salt from my hair and to have time to dry my bathing suit before putting it back in my suitcase. I just had to write one email, and the lady in charge immediately responded and changed our tickets. Thank you for that. The blue lagoon was not what we liked too crowded, and not natural, maybe an alternative to a regular naturally heated public pool where people from Reykjavik go could be suggested. When we got to our apartment in Reykjavik, we couldn’t find any email with the entrance code. We call the suggested number and Michael (?) responded ( Sunday at 8pm) and looked for it. Efficient and extremely nice. Thank you so much for a great experience in such a short time ( and all the hotels were great).
