Matt Norman is the co-author of The Rough Guide to Cuba. In 1995 he spent a year living with a Cuban family in Havana and still stays in the same house whenever he´s in Cuba. An enthusiastic sportsman he has written on Cuban sport for Time Out and based his degree thesis on the subject. He lives in London and has spent most of the last eight years managing a record shop.
