Nigel Williamson

Nigel Williamson is a former news editor of The Times, one-time editor of Tribune and a respected rock writer and journalist.

His music writing has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines, including Uncut, Billboard and Songlines, and he spent five years as a judge for the Mercury Music Prize.

His books include Journey Through the Past: the Stories Behind the Classic Songs of Neil Young (2002), The Rough Guide to Bob Dylan (2004) and The Rough Guide to the Blues (2007).
