Getting Around
Most of the bus and colectivo offices are clustered on Callao and Castilla near the petrol station, with Transportes Chanchapayo's office, for services to Lima, at Callao 1002 and Transportes Junin, who run the best buses to La Merced and Satipo, stopping briefly at their depot, Amazonas 669, en route to and from Lima. Other buses for Chanchamayo are best caught near the stadium on the exit for San Ramon and La Merced where most buses usually stop. For health matters, the town's hospital is at Av Pacheco 362.
