Getting around

With the distances in Peru being so vast, many Peruvians and travellers increasingly fly to their destinations, as all Peruvian cities are within a two-hour flight of Lima. Most Peruvians, however, still get around the country by bus, a cheap way to travel with routes to almost everywhere. In a few cases, it's possible to arrive by train – an experience in itself – despite being considerably slower than equivalent bus journeys.
