A worthy sight in the Miraflores suburb, the Museo de Textiles Andinos Bolivianos has been the permanent home since 1999 of a fairly exhaustive collection of indigenous textiles exhibited in various locations since the late 1970s. Geographically arranged, the brilliance and intricacy of the weavings testify to the ethno-specific nature of their creators' traditions, as well as the wider cosmological significance. There's also a shop where you can purchase premium-quality material in the knowledge that most of the money will go directly to the producers.
