High Museum of Art
The enormous Woodruff Arts Center is home to Atlanta's High Museum of Art In 2005 the High unveiled three new buildings designed by Renzo Piano, around its central piazza. Now with double the exhibition space, it's a truly world-class museum. Permanent collections include the "Art and Life in Africa" displays at street level, American folk art by outsider artists like Howard Finster and Mose Tolliver, and extensive European galleries covering five centuries from Renaissance Italy to the French Impressionists.
