The Coors Brewery
Since the 1860s, the town of Golden on the outskirts of Denver has been virtually synonymous with beer giant Coors, the world's largest brewery. Located three blocks east of Washington Avenue, Golden's main thoroughfare, the brewery serves up 90-minute tours heavy on corporate shill and punctuated with a tasting session of Coors' numerous products; you'll have the chance to sample its alternately maligned and loved Coors Light (aka Silver Bullet), the lower-calorie beer for which the company is most famous.
