T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, nine miles south of Providence, connects to all major US cities. The Amtrak station ( 1-800/USA-RAIL) is in a domed building at 100 Gaspee St; here you can also catch the commuter rail to Boston (1hr; 617/222-3200). Greyhound ( 1-800/231-2222) and Peter Pan ( 1-888/751-8800) buses stop downtown at the Kennedy Plaza hub.
The well-stocked Visitors' Center, in the rotunda lobby of the Rhode Island Convention Center, 1 Sabin St (Mon– Sat 9am–5pm; 401/751-1177 or 1-800/233-1636), provides maps and brochures.
