Getting around
The principal inter-island airline, Hawaiian Airlines (

www.hawaiianair.com ), connects all the major islands several times per day, with standard single fares of around $85. A budget competitor, go! ( 1-888/435-9462, www.iflygo.com ), offers less frequent services at cheaper rates. In addition, a high-speed inter-island ferry ( 1-877/443-3779; www.hawaiisuperferry.com ) sails once or twice daily between Oahu and Maui, starting at around $49 per passenger plus $65 per vehicle.
All the airports have car rental outlets; with the exception of Oahu, however, bus services on the islands barely exist.
