World / North America / USA / Florida / Orlando / Getting around
You have to be determined to get to the theme parks without a car, but it can be done. Local Lynx buses ( 407/841-5969, www.golynx.com ) converge at the downtown Orlando terminal, 455 N Garland Ave. Route #50 heads to Walt Disney World, while route #8 or the limited stop #38 go to International Drive. Along International Drive (including SeaWorld Orlando), the I-Ride Trolley ( 1-866/243-7483, www.iridetrolley.com ) operates every twenty minutes daily from 8am to 10.30pm, costing $1 one way. Taxis are the best way to get around at night – try Diamond Cab ( 407/523-3333). All the main car rental firms have offices at or close to the airport.
