Arrival
Those traveling to Boston by airplane will arrive at the city's Logan International Airport, located on Boston's easternmost peninsula, a landfill sticking far out into Boston Harbor. From there, you can catch the subway or a water shuttle to Downtown; taking a taxi is another option. For visitors coming into Boston by bus or train, you'll arrive at South Station, near the waterfront at Summer Street and Atlantic Avenue; from there, it's just a short walk or subway ride to Downtown.
