Parque Fundidora

The serene Parque Fundidora is a surreal landscape of green parkland, industrial chimneys and processing plants, which have been converted into social spaces. Old warehouses contain the Cineteca-Foteca, a photo gallery and art-house cinema, and the Pinacoteca, which has art exhibitions and a media library. Many of the industrial structures are incorporated into children's playgrounds, and there's a theme park honouring the Latin American version of Sesame Street – Plaza Sésamo. Catch the metro (Line 1) to Parque Fundidora – the park lies south of the station across Madero.
