Parc Jean-Drapeau

    The former Parc des Îles, renamed Parc Jean-Drapeau following the death of the colourful and long-time mayor who served from 1954 to 1957 and again from 1960 to 1986, comprises Île Ste-Hélène and the artificial Île Notre-Dame, constructed from fill dredged from the river and from the construction of the Métro (whose yellow line includes the Jean-Drapeau stop, located on Île Ste-Hélène). Bus #167 links the Métro with the attractions on both islands.
