Reached by the winding Wascana Drive, the Saskatchewan Science Centre is perhaps Regina's main tourist attraction. The open, airy building houses more than a hundred interactive scientific exhibits, live stage shows and demonstrations; of particular interest is a display on uranium mining and a room which has a direct video link to NASA headquarters in Houston, enabling you to watch the live proceedings when a mission is under way. Another gallery is devoted to the soils and weather of Saskatchewan, and here you can learn about what's involved in running a farm. Also on the premises is an IMAX cinema (Mon 6–9pm, Tues– Sun 12.30–9.30pm; $7, or joint ticket with centre $12).
