The Royal Saskatchewan Museum is devoted to the province's geology and wildlife, starring a giant animated dinosaur called Megamunch. Informative dioramas portray aspects of aboriginal life in the First Nations Gallery, including storytelling, shown in the scene of a grizzled grandfather recounting stories to a couple of rapt youths. In the new Life Sciences Gallery the relationships between habitat, plants and animals are explored with a multitude of skilfully stuffed animals and plastic flora set against backdrops that evoke the diverse eco-regions of Saskatchewan.
