Morris
The pleasant small town of MORRIS, 59km west of Steinbach via hwys 52, 29 and 23, is home to the annual Manitoba Stampede and Exhibition, one of Canada's largest, which takes place during the third week of July in and around a huge recreational complex dominating the town. The area where the Morris River joins the Red River is great for catching wall-eye and catfish, and a Catfish Derby is held here in August.
