The restored Castelo San Antón was once a garrison and, until the 1960s, a military and political prison. Today it houses the Museo Arqueolóxico e Histórico. As well as fascinating ancient finds, including pre-Christian gold jewellery, it holds an unusual full-size replica of an Iron Age wicker and leather boat.
