Arrival
The train station and bus terminal are close to each other, thirty-minutes' walk north of Plaza Mayor. From the bus station, turn right out of the main entrance then right again around the side of the terminal to reach the main road; turn left here and follow the Avenida Tres Cruces all the way in to town. From the train station walk straight out over the roundabout in front to join the Avenida Tres Cruces. Alternatively, it's a ten-minute ride on bus #4 (every 20min), which leaves from outside the bus station and runs down Avenida Tres Cruces, dropping you at Plaza Sagasta by Plaza Mayor; note the return bus departs from outside the market. Some of the old town is residents-only access and parking, but the main central car parks are well signposted.
