Salamanca's quirkiest museum, the Museo Art Nouveau y Art Deco, is contained within the Casa Lis, built for an Art Nouveau enthusiast at the turn of the twentieth century and partly constructed from vibrantly painted glass (the best views of the house are actually from the ring road below). There's a terrific miscellany of objects inside, from bronze statues and porcelain figures to jewellery and furniture, with notable exhibits including the famous scent bottles René Lalique designed for Guerlain and Worth.
